This is one of those finds that had my jaw dropping to the floor. It was actually my first trip to the Goodwill Outlet in Baltimore. Digging through the huge bins is tough, but these shoes are proof that it's worth it. I would never even think of purchasing Stuart Weitzman shoes at full price, but I always keep an eye out for them at the thrift store.
These shoes were in rough shape—shame on whoever did this to $398 shoes!!! Essentially, they looked like they had been worn in a lake, pretty muddy and needed quite a bit of cleaning. The leather on one was a bit warped, but could be reshaped with the right inserts. Even so, it was a no-brainer to pick them up for $3. Unfortunately, they were a 1/2 size large on me and just didn't fit right no matter how much I tightened the straps. I ended up listing them on eBay and they sold within a week!
